DRIMER Sp. z o.o. has received funding from the European Union for the project entitled “Improving the Energy Efficiency of DRIMER Sp. z o.o.”, project No. FENG.03.01-IP.03-1525/25.
The objective of the project is to improve the energy efficiency of DRIMER Sp. z o.o. through infrastructure modernisation, thermal renovation of the building and the implementation of modern, energy-efficient production technologies.
The following activities are planned as part of the project:
The project focuses on improving the energy efficiency of the production facility and introducing a fundamental change to the production process. The modern technological line will enable the company to move from single-layer technology to an innovative three-layer HDPE film extrusion technology. The use of new solutions will make it possible to increase the share of recycled raw materials, improve the performance properties of the film, increase the precision of the production process and significantly reduce electricity consumption.
The implementation of the project will improve the company’s energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase its competitiveness through the introduction of innovative technological solutions. Both the company and its customers will benefit from the project. Customers will receive products of even higher quality, manufactured in a more sustainable manner.

The project will result in a fundamental change to the production process, leading to improved energy efficiency within the company and contributing to the objectives of the European Funds for a Modern Economy Programme.

DRIMER Sp. z o.o. is carrying out a project financed by European Funds under Action 3.2.1 Research to Market, entitled: “Implementation of research results in order to introduce an innovative foil on the market by DRIMER”.
Project Aim: To increase the competitiveness and technological potential of DRIMER by introducing to the market an innovative foil. The technological solution developed during the R&D works will allow DRIMER to include in its product offer an innovative foil that meets all customer‑reported needs.
Innovation of the Solution: The innovation is based on designing the technological line for regranulate production, and machines for applying nano‑coatings, which together will make it possible to produce an innovative foil with parameters expected by customers and not present on the Polish or European market.
Compared to existing foils from recyclate on the market, this foil will have greater durability, transparency, and hydrophobicity; reduced odor; lower electrostatic charge. It will be 100% derived from recovered materials (ecological).
Thanks to the innovative product, the company will be able to offer customers a solution that addresses their identified problems, while also enabling the reuse of plastic waste, which aligns with current environmental requirements and pro‑ecological trends.
